17 February 2025 – Paris, France: The UAE-France High-Level Business Council convened its third plenary meeting this week in Paris, with Presight among a select group of prominent UAE businesses participating in the discussions.
During this year’s meeting, Presight was given the honour of being appointed as an official Council member, joining an esteemed group of Emirati and French entities representing government, semi-government, and private sectors.
The Council meeting was co-chaired by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology – and Chairman of Presight, and Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies. The Council meeting was attended by Eric Lombard, French Minister of Economics and Finance, Laurent Saint-Martin, French Minister of Foreign Trade, Her Excellency Mariam Almheiri, Head of the International Affairs Office at the UAE Presidential Court, and His Excellency Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic.
Representing Presight at the Council was Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer, and Magzhan Kenesbai, Acting Managing Director of AIQ – a Presight company.
As part of the Council meeting, Presight was also appointed to the Council’s newly created AI and Advanced Technology Working Group.
On the sidelines of the Council meeting, Presight Chairman His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber hosted a meeting between Presight and French AI company, Mistral. Headquartered in Paris, Mistral specializes in AI Large Language Models. The meeting was attended by Mistral’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Arthur Mensch.
The discussions centered on exploring collaborative opportunities and fostering cooperation on projects in both France and the United Arab Emirates. Presight and Mistral discussed the real-world application of applied intelligence solutions across Presight’s key verticals, and AIQ’s agentic AI product for the energy sector, ENERGYai.
Following the proceedings of the Council meeting, Presight also conducted a tour of Station F, the world’s largest startup campus, based in Paris. The 50,000m2 campus supports over 1,000 startups a year across 30 different support programs. The Station F startup community already boasts a number of success stories, including Hugging Face – the most popular data science platform and community that helps users build, deploy and train machine learning and Large Language Models.
